The FCC, the American comission responsible for evaluating and approving cellphones before they reach the market has now the Nokia 5800i XpressMusic to evaluate. Some could think of an enhanced version of the 5800 XpressMusic, like in most cases, but that’s not the case this time.
In fact, this new model is a hardware downgrade, not an upgrade. This new version is exactly the same as the 5800 but it doesn’t feature the WiFi. The reasons behind this decision are unknown, but users can be reassured that the normal 5800 XpressMusic model will still be available for purchase nonetheless.
