The home screen features the horizontal icons that give fast access to 6 chosen applications, be that the appointments, mail or the wireless network availability.

Besides the more classic mode, there’s also the new vertical icon visualization, typical from devices with the Feature Pack 2, and the new contact bar that is customizable. The latter allows users to have a fast access to the messenging functions in order to contact friends.
